Flower delivery in Ukraine for Independence Day, 24 August
Independence Day is the one date in the Ukrainian calendar that belongs to everybody and to nobody in particular. It is not Mother's Day. It is not a birthday. Nobody grew up with a family ritual attached to 24 August the way they did with Easter or New Year, and there is no dish you have to cook or flower you are supposed to buy. Which makes it slightly awkward if you want to send something. We get this question every August at Ukraineflora, usually from companies with staff or partners in Ukraine. The short answer: something good, sent to an office, with a card that sounds like a person wrote it.
